What You Need To Know

On Sunday, April 12, and Sunday, April 19, crews will perform maintenance work on the TRAX Red Line near West Jordan City Center Station. This will impact the TRAX Red Line between 4800 West Station and Bingham Junction Station.

  • Plan for delays of up to 45 minutes between Jordan Valley Station and Bingham Junction Station.
  • To avoid delays, riders are encouraged to board TRAX north of the affected area.
  • No bus bridge will be in place. Instead, a shuttle train will operate through the area on a single track between Jordan Valley Station and Bingham Junction Station. Riders will need to transfer to or from the shuttle train at Jordan Valley and Bingham Junction Station, similar to a bus bridge.

Regular TRAX service will resume on Monday, April 13, and Monday, April 20.

What to Expect

  • Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both days.
  • Nearby residents and businesses may experience noise, lighting, dust, and vibration, including during nighttime hours.

Why This Is Happening

These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to keep the TRAX system safe, reliable, and running efficiently.
